| One hundred thousand litres of sea water are pumped each hour directly into the museum to create the salmon rapids. The water flows back to the sea via the lowland lake and the salmon ladder. The salmon are free to swim out into the Baltic, returning to the museum when the time comes for them to mate. |  |
